S&B fuel tanks are now officially up on our website and ready to get installed on your Super Duty!
We have a few different selections based on what year and bed configuration you have.
Send us a PM to get your order started today!
According to S&B, these tanks are CARB compliant and should not give any issues relating to that.
That being said, we are not CARB compliant experts and always suggest checking your state's laws and regulations before purchasing these fuel tanks.
56 Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank: 11-16 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L Crew Cab Short Bed $1,249.00
60 Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank: 17-22 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L Crew Cab Short Bed $1,249.00
68 Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank: 17-22 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L Crew Cab Long Bed $1,349.00
We've already installed the 60 gallon tank at our Houston location and it came out flawlessly.
Here are some photos of the install:

60 gallon for 21 Tremor or any 6.75 bed - 68 gallon is for the long bed - I have one in my 2022 Tremor! Had it installed a few weeks after I got my truck - only thing I don't like about it, is having to go inside and prepay $300 or more to fill er up! We are now over $5.00 a gallon in S. Cal for diesel - even if hunting for good prices.
For 2022 they did not have the ez link working yet when I got mine installed so my gas gauge is still off - so when my truck says I have 5 miles left - I actually have 5 gallons left. I have gone over 900 miles on one fuel load and over 600 miles towing my 10k 24' ATC toybox.
Great mod and well worth the dollars is you do a lot of longer trips or want to be able to choose where you get fuel. Extra range give you a lot of flexibility.

What’s the drop on each model compared to factory? Trying to understand the affect on clearance of those.
Thanks!

@evtrail these sit approximately 1" lower than OEM and reuse the OEM skid plate.

I would say the drop is approximately 1" -2" - all stock skids go back on - as you can see from the photos most of the added capacity is in front of where the old fuel tank went. But there is a drop.
Add the tank - add 37's and you are at same clearance!

I want a larger tank, but have a concern that the S&B isn’t CARB approved. I have to have it smogged right away when buying out of State, so an image of my stock ECM emissions equipment will be uploaded into their system for a baseline. I wonder if I’ll be ok by not recalibrating fuel tank size ? Any thoughts?
CARB is normally something tied to performance enhancements and/or items that could potentially modify the vehicles emissions. S&B is based out of California and we know lots of folks in California with these tanks. Not sure that adding more fuel capacity could hinder your vehicle emissions or state inspection. We'd recommend confirming with local inspection shop.

When you're 'smogged' in CA do they look at your tank other than doing a pressure test? How can it be an issue?

You running a 7.3 Godzilla? If not and you have diesel - you are good to go - no CARB approvals of fuel tank, like the gas one has.
Transfer Flow was working on getting CARB approval for the small half ton tanks - but not sure about the super duty tanks.
I bought my truck in Calif. I have 96 months before my smog will be checked from new.
I know if you guy out of state you do have to do smog check to register (even if you have a new vehicle MSO with Calif emmissions stamped on it). So something to consider.

What part of CA? My 2020 6.7 needed a smog this year at 24 months old. Even the smog guy agreed it's a scam.

If you buy your truck new out of State and register it in California - smog every 24 months. If you buy it used - every 24 months - if you buy it new in Calif. diesel 96 months (8 years) and gas 72 months (6 years), then every 24 months thereafter.
And yes, it is a racket!

Good evening. Not sure you seen my post but I just installed a 60galS&B on my 20 f350 and the install went easy but S&B sent me a ez Lynk to recalibrate my tank size and sh*t wrecked my computers. Truck ran great before. After I did the recalibrate it would run fine just no throttle only idles. Been in shop since January 25 and still at dealership now. Not covered under warranty either. I’m sick . So far they have changed my abs module PCM and working on changing BCM.

Bought mine new in state and had a smog at 24 months. What are you basing your information on?

Information was from my experinece and my 2022 diesel shows I have 96 months on my Ford account. So I checked in with the DMV website and found that things have changes - "new" gas powered vehicles get 8 years before first smog check (not 6 I posted above). Any gas vehicle 4 years old or less, does not require a smog check New Diesel vehicles require smog check every 2 years thereafter - not 8 as I posted above. \
From DMV website
Your vehicle does not need a smog inspection if your:
- Gasoline-powered vehicle is a 1975 year model or older (This includes motorcycles and trailers.)
- Diesel-powered vehicle is a 1997 and older year model OR with a Gross Vehicle Weight of more than 14,000 pounds.
- Powered by natural gas and weighs more than 14,000 pounds.
- An electric vehicle.
- Gasoline-powered and less than eight model-years old.
My car is new. Do I still have to get a smog inspection when I renew my registration?
Starting January 1, 2019, if your vehicle is less than 4 model years old, you can pay a smog abatement fee instead of getting a smog inspection for the first 8 years that your vehicle is registered.
