[Forums] 16 Character Long Usernames (2024)

Hello. As you might know, Minecraft usernames can be up to 16 characters long. I, and many others who play on the Hypixel server, have 16 lettered usernames. If you look to the left of the screen, and underneath my avatar, you will see my username, 'JoseTheSkateNerd'. If you look closely, you will notice the 'D' in Nerd, is not on the same line as the rest of my name, making it look like 'JoseTheSkateNer d'. For some reason, this really, really, bothers me and I don't know why. So I suggest this; widen the area where our names are by a couple of pixels, so those with 16 lettered usernames fit, just like everyone else. I mean if Minecraft itself supports this, then why not the Hypixel forums? I mean it's bad enough that our names get cut off when you press tab on the server, or that our names sometimes turn white (due to problems with long IGNs). So stop the hatred. Stop the username discrimination. Support 16 character long usernames.

(I realize this is a low priority thing, I just wanted to let the people know )

It was just a suggestion if they did do something with HTML or CSS

I know that.

This website is XenForo, but Hypixel can modify it how he likes 1,2. This is very simple and can be accomplished by changing one line in the CSS.
Change:

.messageUserInfo { width: 124px;}

To:

.messageUserInfo { width: 130px;}

Tada! You're done.

PROOF that Hypixel can change the site as he sees fit.

So are you saying I could fix this myself? Or is it still something hypixel would have to do?
